What can I say, I love Lukas brand oils. I'm not an employee of theirs, I just admire the hell out of their paint and their legacy, and for good reason.
In the past I used Winton and other brands, but nothing impressed me more than Lukas once I went in their direction. Lukas is known for a smooth, velvety, buttery paint that dries fairly quickly thanks to a special recipe of beeswax added to the oil mixture. WInton (Winsor Newton) Oils are one of the most ubiquitous oil brands, they're found in the majority of art stores (Michaels, etc) and have a long history. The brand has a reputation for being somewhat of a "starter" brand with it's popularity among students and beginners.
